Easy To Do Sports Cupcakes

Your favourite sports can be turned into cupcakes!

Sports cupcakes are best served during birthday parties of your male friends, or even at a sports related event.

Depending on the type of sports you like, you can choose from the ideas below... Have fun preparing them!

Assorted Balls Cupcakes

Ingredients

• Cupcake - any recipe

• Buttercream icing in white, red, brown, black and orange

Decorating Method

1. Apply one layer of white buttercream icing on top of the cupcake for the soccer ball and baseball.

2. For the basketball, cover with orange icing, and for the football, cover with brown icing.

3. Using the tip with the smallest opening (possibly #1), pipe red buttercream icing to resemble the sewing lines on a baseball.

4. Using the same tip size, pipe black icing and create the lines on the basketball. Also pipe out black icing on the soccerball to make the pentagons and fill up with black icing as well.

5. For the football, cut the end of the piping bag sligher bigger to pipe out thick white icing and make the lines on the football.
