Soccer Cupcakes Your Son Will Love

Some people will do anything for soccer. Soccer is their life. To them, I would like to dedicate these soccer cupcakes.

This goes out to my hubby, too...

Jersey Cupcake

Ingredients

• Cupcake - any recipe

• Buttercream icing in white and green

• Marzipan in plain and red

Decorating Method

1. Apply one layer of white buttercream icing on top of the cupcake surface.

2. Roll out red marzipan to get a flat surface. Then, cut into a rectangle, to get the basic shape of a jersey.

3. Then, cut the collar shape.

4. Using the plain marzipan, roll out evenly and cut out into two small squares to get the sleeves. Attach the sleeves to the jersey.

5. Using very fine marzipan, create number '7' onto the jersey and put aside.

6. On the cupcake surface, pipe out green icing using tip #233, to make the grass.

7. Then, place the jersey on top.

Soccer Cupcake

Ingredients

• Cupcake - any recipe

• Buttercream icing in white and green

• Chocolate candies with wrappers that looks like soccer balls

Decorating Method

1. Apply one layer of white buttercream icing on top of the cupcake surface.

2. Using tip #233, pipe green icing to make the grass.

3. Place the "soccer balls" on them.

You can use these for decoration, too...
