Rocket Cupcakes For Your Space Themed Party

Your child expresses an interest in rockets. He loves rockets. Then, let's make him rockets cupcakes for his birthday.

There are many ways to make the rockets on the cupcakes. This idea is using marzipan, then decorated with buttercream icing.

I think they turned out pretty well.

3, 2, 1.....Blast Off!

Ingredients

• Cupcakes - any recipe

• Buttercream icing in white and orange

• Marzipan in dark blue

• Stars and Moon sprinkles

Decorating Method

1. Cover half of the number of cupcake with white buttercream icing, and flatten using a small spatula.

2. For the other half of the cupcakes, make a big swirl of white buttercream icing.

3. For the cupcakes with icing swirls, sprinkle the stars and moon sprinkles from top.

4. Now, let's make the rocket. Using some dark blue marzipan, make an oval shape and flatten using the palm of your hands.

5. Place one rocket on each flat icing cupcake.

6. Near to the rocket, place some monn sprinkles.

7. Then, using orange icing, with a small opening decorating tip, pipe out lines at the bottom of the rocket and one short line at the top of the rocket.

Now, you can serve your cupcakes.
