Leaves Icing Design - How To Make
This is to explain how to make leaves from buttercream icing. Its real easy because you use a leaf tip.  If you are decorating your cupcakes with flowers, it is very useful to have this leaf tip for instant icing leaves. Just squeeze green icing (or whatever leaf color you want) at the bottom and gradually decrease the pressure as you lift the piping bag up. If your icing consistency is too thin, the leaves will not stand. You must get the right icing consistency for the leaves to hold.  Alternatively, if you don't have a leaf tip, you can make one out of the piping bag. After filling up the piping bag with icing, cut the tip of the piping bag into a V shape.
