How To Make Mini Book Cupcakes

It's back to school time!

Hi everyone I'm Forbes Riley here in the kitchen with Family Fun and these cool cupcakes, well they're the perfect treat to cap off your child's first day at school.

You'll need cupcakes, white frosting, black decorator's icing, Fig Newtons, candy blocks, green fruit leather, and red chocolate candy.

First, spread a layer of white frosting on a cooled cupcake, use black decorator's icing to decorate a Fig Newton to resemble a school book and then place it on top of the cupcake.

For a calculator, add decorator's icing buttons to the candy blocks.

Finally, use a drop of water to stick a green fruit leather leaf to a red chocolate candy apple and place it on top of the cupcake.

A plate of these for the classroom will definitely earn you extra credit.
