Holly Wreath Cupcakes Using Buttercream Icing

This is an idea to make holly wreath cupcakes using buttercream icing. There are a lot of ways to make the wreath, however, making small rosettes to make the wreath is one way.

Holly Wreath

Ingredients

• Cupcakes - any recipe

• Buttercream icing in white and green

• Red licorice strip

• nonpareils

Decorating Method

1. Cover cupcakes in white buttercream icing.

2. Make small rosettes of green buttercrearm icing and form a loop on top of the cupcakes, without closing it.

3. Take a short red licorice strip and form a ribbon. Place the ribbon at the open end of the icing loop.

4. Sprinkle nonpareils on top of the green icing.
