Try These Frog Cupcakes

Here is my idea of frog cupcakes. They are easy to do and anyone can do it.

Smiling Froggie Cupcakes

Ingredients

• Cupcakes - any recipe

• Buttercream icing in green

• Marzipan in plain, green red

• Chocolate rice

• Chocolate chips

Decorating Method

1. Cover cupcakes with green buttercream icing.

2. Make small balls of plain marzipan and place the chocolate chips on each of them. The bottom of the chocolate chip should be on top. These are for the eyes.

3. Place the eyes on the cupcakes.

4. Take two pieces of chocolate rice and place underneath and between the eyes. These are for the nose.

5. Next, make small balls of green marzipan and flaten using fingers. Place the ears on top of the eyes.

6. Lastly, for the smiling mouth. Make a string out of red marzipan and place it on the cupcakes, below the nose.

Little Green Froggies

Here are froggie cupcakes using all sorts of decorating materials like icing, marzipan, M&Ms, chocolate chips and licorice strips.

Below are the steps to make these little froggies.

Ingredients

• Cupcakes - any recipe

• Buttercream icing in white and green

• Green M&Ms

• Green marzipan

• Chocolate chips

• Red licourice strip

Decorating Method

1. Cover cupcakes with green buttercream icing.

2. Make two small balls using the green marzipan and flatten a bit using your fingers.

3. Place the two balls on top of the cupcakes as eyes.

4. Pipe out white buttercream icing near the eyes.

5. Place chocolate chips on the white icing for the eyes.

6. Cut short lengths of red licorice strips and place each strip on the cupcake for the mouth.

7. Lastly, place green M&Ms all around the cupcakes.
