Decorating With Clown Heads

If you are a cake decorator, you probably have used clown heads to decorate your cake. Have you used clown heads to decorate cupcakes?

Here, techniques or methods on decorating with clown heads are explained.

Firstly, you need the plastic clown heads. You can buy them at the cake decorating supplies store.

The challenge is in creating the clown's body to go with the clown's head.

For the body, you need two decorating tips. A star tip and a round tip.

The star tip is for the body and the round tip is for the gloves.

For demonstration purposes, I used green frosting for the body, and red frosting for the gloves.

One way to decorate the clown is to pipe out both hands out.

Another way is to pipe out one hand supporting the head.

As an alternative idea, instead of piping out a round ball for the gloves, you can also use grass tip.

This will create frills for the clown's outfit.
