Lovely Daisy Cupcakes

Decorating cupcakes with flowers may be the most common cupcake decorating idea but nonethelss, if done well, will produce stunning looking cupcakes.

Take a look at these daisy cupcakes...aren't they lovely? And they are actually easy to do.

Daisy Trio

This was my first attempt to make flower cupcakes and I wonder how they fair?

Ingredients

• Cupcake - any recipe

• Buttercream icing in pink

• marshmallow daisies

• edible gold beads

Decorating Method

1. Pipe a swirl of pink buttercream icing to cover the cupcakes.

2. Place one marshmallow daisy on each cupcake.

3. Add the edible gold beads to enhance the decoration.

My Lovely Daisies

To me, this is the simplest daisy cupcake to make.

Ingredients

• Cupcake - any recipe

• Buttercream icing in white, pink, blue and purple

• yellow M&Ms

Decorating Method

1. Cover cupcakes with white buttercream icing.

2. Pipe pink icing using the star tip to make the petals.

3. Place one yellow M&M in the center.

4. Do the same to make blue and purple daisies.
