Fun Car Cupcakes!
If your party theme is 'cars', these car cupcakes would fit perfectly well.
Create your own version of cars using marzipan, like below, and create your original car cuppies.
Car Cuppies
Ingredients
- Buttercream icing in light brown, dark brown and white
- Marzipan in plain, red, dark brown
- Red, yellow and green M&Ms
Decorating method
1. Cover half of the cupcakes with white buttercream icing, and the other half with light brown icing.
2. Take the red marzipan to form the car's body.
3. Make the two car windows with plain marzipan. Make also the car tyres with dark brown marzipan.
4. Using also the dark brown marzipan, make the door handles. Now, you've completed making the cars.
5. Place each car on each light brown cupcake.
6. Using white icing, make dots to resemble smoke coming out from the exhaust.
7. Now, we make the traffic light which is very easy. The lights are made from red, yellow and green M&Ms.
8. Place the three lights on each white cupcake. Outline with dark brown icing.
