Lovely Butterfly Cupcakes

Butterfly cupcakes are the most versatile cupcake for decoration. A lot of ideas are available for making the butterfly.

Some of the ideas are hard to do and some are not. The idea below is very simple and I'm sure you can try it at home and come up with your own variation.

Cheerful Butterfly

Ingredients

• Cupcakes - any recipe

• Buttercream icing in white, red and dark brown

• M&Ms in red, orange and brown

• Colorful sprinkles

Decorating Method

1. Cover cupcakes in white buttercream icing.

2. Take 5 brown M&Ms and arrange vertically to make the butterfly body.

3. Place two red M&Ms and two orange M&Ms at the bottom.

4. Using red icing, pipe the outline of the butterfly using tip #1.

5. Sprinkle the colorful sprinkles around the M&Ms, but keep inside the outline.

6. Lastly, draw the tentacles using dark brown icing.
